New Place, New Life.
Now that the Joads are in California, everything seems to be going up hill and better than it was in Oklahoma. Of course, it is because they are not in the middle of the madness. But Is it going to continue to get bet or are there going to be a few more bumps in the road and maybe go back down hill?

Thats not true. The Joads are in the middle of the madness. Steinback would not want it any other way.
Ofcourse there will be more bumps on the road.Change is taking place all over the country.

bumps???? how about little mountains?
i agree. bumps do not begin to describe the events to come. its sad because they make it to California, find work, but it kind of down hill from here
