Family Government
so how does everyone feel about the family government? i don't know, i think it's pretty crap that the grandpa still sits at the head of the "counsil" even though he is insane. also, the thing about old Tom and uncle Jon (i think thats his name...) sitting in the front while the pregnant girl stand on the bed of the truck...that is stupid. skrew tradition or whatever that is.

Yeah well, that's just how families functioned back then. Oldest male sits at the head, regardless of whether or not he is mentally competent. This is also the problem with a monarchy system of government.
You are totally right. Their family system is really messed up.
I think the Mother is what keeps them all together anyway. She should be the head, not Grandpa.

I don't like the way the family "government" is set up, mostly because Grandpa who is "full of piss and vinegar" is the honorary leader. I just don't like him as a character. He's a little too hardcore for me, but I'm just picky like that. lol
